The project included eight courtrooms, related ancillary functions, administrative offices, and the auditor, treasurer and assessor departments of the county government. Security control and parking are in the basement level. All areas are accessible to the handicapped. The high traffic courtrooms are on the lower floors, with the largest courtroom on the top floor, articulated on the exterior by a clay tile hipped roof relating to the old historic courthouse. The project was a total of 96,700 square feet, constructed under budget and on schedule.
