Fountain Inn Elementary School

This project consists of a new two story 93,000 sf building. The completed project houses 830 students K-5 with a core to support a population of 1,000 students and includes a media center which is the focus of the school, multi-purpose room, science, art, special education classrooms, kitchen and cafetorium, and elevator to comply with ADA requirements. The project is located on a steeply sloping site on a hill behind the new Fountain Inn Civic Center. The 40 foot drop across the site and the size of the building required a two story design. The project was accomplished on schedule and within the District's budget.
