Pickens County Courthouse Renovation and Addition

The project consists of programming the county court system and the office needs resulting in the design of a major addition to the existing structure. The new addition is a blend of the details of the existing building and the traditional style required to harmonize with the character of the downtown. The functions of the new facility are based on the latest technology to provide for safety and security in carrying out the daily task of the courts in administering the justice system. The existing courthouse renovations and the 32,000 square foot addition provides for ADA and security needs.
